Echeveria

The classic rosette succulents, native from southern Texas to northwestern Argentina. Most want full sun, gritty soil and a frost-free winter. Here's every one we've profiled.

Echeveria care in brief

Give them as much sun as you can, water deeply and only when the soil is dry right through, and keep them above freezing. Most trouble comes from too little light (the rosette stretches open) or too much water in winter, when wet soil invites rot.
